Brady Wrede is an indie folk and rock singer-songwriter from Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and a sixth-generation musician whose work blends acoustic roots with modern storytelling.

With a deep respect for tradition and a reflective, lyrical style, Brady writes songs drawn from real life—his own and others’—capturing moments of struggle, growth, and connection.

His latest release, EMBERS (November 7, 2025), is a new EP centered on themes of persistent hope and finding love in unexpected places.

Brady’s growing discography of albums, EPs, and singles—shaped by collaborations with both local and Nashville-based musicians and producers—reflects his commitment to honest, heartfelt songwriting. Known for his soft, expressive voice and emotionally resonant performances, he continues to perform throughout the region, sharing songs that speak to the heart of the human experience.

Wandered This Far, Brady’s debut album, was released in February of 2021. Followed by the EPs, Dark (2022) and Light (2023). His most recent project, a five-song EP titled EMBERS (2025), was released on November 7th of 2025.

Bio

A sixth-generation singer and songwriter, Brady Wrede has been steadily carving out his unique place in the music industry. Currently residing in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Wrede has diligently written and recorded music for the past several years, while performing in Sioux Falls and surrounding regional areas. 

The journey of putting out music began with the single release of Can You Hear Me, on August 7th, 2020. Since then, Wrede has independently released an album (Wandered This Far - 2021) and two EPs (Light - 2022, Dark - 2023). Most recently, Wrede released his EP, EMBERS, a five-song project with songs surrounding themes of persistent hope, struggling to give up control, and finding love in expected ways.

Wrede uses thoughtful lyrics and melodies to create music that the listener can connect to. With a soft but emotion-filled voice, Wrede pulls the listener into what he has to say. He explores sounds in the genres of folk, pop, and rock. As a performer, he engages the audience through his storytelling, taking well-known songs and putting his unique spin on them.
